The villa is a wonderful home, ideal for a family holiday with excellent, modern facilities, and a local representative who will reply promptly and efficiently to requests.
The villa has 4 light, double bedrooms located on one corridor with one WC between them (no WC in en-suite). All rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and views of the garden and surrounding area. None of the bedrooms have curtains or blinds (as of June 2009). The main living area is very spacious with very comfortable seating and high quality TV and stereo system. The kitchen is the highlight with all that could be asked for in a contemporary kitchen. All of the living areas have windows and French doors opening on to different terraces and external seating areas. The one aspect which was slightly disappointing was the modern internal cooling system which did not seem to cool the villa in any significant way.
The outside area is a delight with undercover terraces which catch the morning sun, and a lovely swimming pool. The pool and one of the terraces are not, unfortunately, very friendly for very young children; the terrace has a small drop on to a concrete walkway, and the deep pool has no rail or fence around it. The ‘hydrodeck’ does work but we suggest close supervision of small children at all times around the pool area. However, for a slightly older family or group, the day could easily be spent in the villa and around the pool.
There is an uncovered parking area and a newly planted garden.
The quality of finishing and furnishing is excellent, and any problems will be dealt with by the local representative.
The location of the villa is good, although a car is necessary as it is at least a 10 minute drive to local amenities. The nearest beach is 5 minutes away and rather difficult to reach with small children. The resort at Pinarellu, however, is a delight with a selection of restaurants and an excellent sandy beach with shallow water.
